National Queer People of Color Conference ** March 30- April 1, 2012, Northridge University
The Queer People of Color Conference gives people the chance to understand the diversity amongst being a person of color in the Queer community. It focuses on the social reformation, injustice, and oppression. It gives light to coming out of the closet in ethnic communitites, polticial beliefs, safe sex and HIV, and the movement of art; visual and performing . The theme of this year's conference is Fourway: Intersections of Race, Gender, Class and Sex[uality].

QACON: the Queer and Asian Conference ** April 27-29, 2012, University of California Berkeley

Harry Hay Conference 2012: Radically Gay The Life and Visionary Legacy of Harry Hay ** Sept 27-30, 2012, CLAGS (the Center for Lesbian & Gay Studies at CUNY)
The graduate student conference will feature presentations from scholars, activists and artists all exploring the evolution of LGBT life in the 60+ years since Harry Hay and a small cohort of Californians founded the Mattachine Society. Info: Benjamin Gillespie

Out for Work Confernce ** Sep 28 - 3, 2012, Chicago Illinois

Out for Work functions as a complimentary component in the total educational experience of LGBT students, primarily in the development, evaluation, initiation and implementation of career plans and opportunities. OFW’s programs, resources, and services provide assistance to students in the cultivation and enhancement of skills to explore career options, master search techniquesand strategies and research employment opportunities.

UCLA Queer Studies Conference 2011 ** Fri.-Sat. Oct 14-15, 2011, UCLA
This year’s conference will explore and exploit issues of fashion, queerly construed. We have invited a wide range of questions and panels on subject topics as drag, female masculinities, male femininities, queer making and self-fashioning, cloning and styling, and, of course, the culture and politics of the fashion industry itself. Questions of class, economics, history, ethnicity, race, (im)migration, geography, exploitation, and sublimation are at the forefront of our query. We seek to know what might be a new analytic or interdisciplinary methodology through which to attend to multiple registers of fashion.

1st Annula Queer Yo Mind Conference ** Sat. Oct 15, 2011, 8:30 am - 6 pm, SF State University
Queer Yo Mind is completely organized by student and community volunteers and aims to both educate and empower members of the LGBTQQI community and their allies. Presentations and interactive workshops will focus on building leadership skills, exploring systems of oppression, queer activism, and creating community. This year's theme is Leadership, Diversity, and Unity. All are welcome.

Students of Color Conference ** Nov 11-13, 2011, UC Davis
Student of Color Conference (SOCC) is the annual UCSA event where the membership comes together to engage students of color and LGBT students in our statewide campaigns. SOCC is our oldest and largest conference, providing a venue for student of color and allied leaders to strategize around statewide and campus-based actions and build leadership. Queer Pin@y Conference ** Nov 19, 2012, UC Santa Barbara
QPC is a single day conference with various workshops, keynotes, and activities designed to unite students, and equip them with the resources necessary to face issues of equality that they all face as marginalized individuals in contemporary society. Although QPC focuses on creating a safe space for students that identify as both Queer and Pin@y, QPC is open to anyone who is interested in becoming an ally and learning more about our community. 

27th International Gay and Lesbian Leadership Conference ** Thurs- Sun, Dec 1-4, 2011, Huston Texas
A conference focusing on uniting all queer leaders across politics, community orgs, and business. Attendees will experience three days of training, skills building, networking and discussion of key issues facing OUT leaders and their communities. Participants have said this conference has helped them learn how to think creatively about critical issues that they deal with on a daily basis in their work.
