SUPPORT TO THE CANTU QUEER CENTER
We
invite friends and advocates of the Lionel Cantú
Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Intersex Resource Center
to consider making a financial contribution to help support
the Center. Your gifts help to ensure the stability of this
young organization and enable us to expand existing resources.
You may make an 'unrestricted' gift to the Center, which
allows your donation to be used in the area of most need.

If you prefer, you may restrict your gift for any of the
following purposes:

Support (gifts help the Center produce National Coming
Out Day, National GLBTI History Month, Gender Awareness
Day, Queer Awareness Campaign and various multicultural
events throughout the academic year.
- Lecture/Performance
Series (gifts help bring notable GLBTI scholars, performers,
artists and cultural activists to campus)
- Library
Collection (gifts expand the library's holdings of GLBTI
themed books, journals and 'zines)
- GALA
Art Gallery (gifts support student art shows and receptions
at the Center's GALA Gallery)
- Student
Internships - Student interns are the lifeblood of the Center.
A gift of $1,000 supports a low income undergraduate student
to work at the Center on various exciting and vital projects
throughout one academic year. Your gift is matched by the
federal work/study program, doubling your impact. Opportunities
for mentorship of the sponsored intern are available. With
full sponsorship, the donor may have the internship bear
his/her name. Partial sponsorships are also welcome.
OTHER
WAYS TO GIVE
Donations can be made by check/cash, credit card, securities,
real property, through wills and trusts or through matching
gifts.
