STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS

Are you interested in participating in student organizations, becoming a leader, and/or getting connected in the LGBTIQ community?

The center is home to a host of queer student organizations. Membership is open to UCSC students. Full list of UCSC Student organizations connect with SOAR office. For current meeting times please call (831) 459-2468.

Weekly Groups

Queer Geeks
Monday 7-10 pm, Cantú Queer Center
For all queer and allied individuals, both on and off campus, do you love playing board games? Card games? Or video games? Then Queer Geeks is the club for you. Come and play a wide variety of games, like Dominion, Magic the Gathering, and Super Smash Bros, with your geeky peers. Come geek out and get your game on. Info: queer.geeks.ucsc@gmail.com

Blender
Tuesday 4 - 5:45pm - Cantú Queer Center
A safer space for all of UCSC's gender deviants, transgender people, transsexual, genderqueer, androgynous, soffas, third gendered, two-spirit, gender non-conforming, non-identified, intersex individuals and their allies. Info: Julian, ucsc.blender@gmail.com

Queers of Color Support Group
 Tuesday 7-8:30 pm - Cantú Queer Center
Connect. Discuss. Find support. Build Community. Meet other queer and questioning students of color in a safe, confidential and facilitated space. All genders are welcome!

Queer Coffee House
Tuesday 8:30-10:30 pm, Cantú Queer Center

The Element Lounge
