RECEPTION and "MEANING OF MATTHEW" BENEFIT for JUDY SHEPARD
Reception - Fri. Oct 23, 5:30 - 6 PM, Vets Hall, 846 Front Street in Santa Cruz
Honor Judy Shepard with an intimate Reception.
Benefit- Fri. Oct 23, 6 - 7 PM, Vets Hall
This casual, informal hour Judy will speak and will include other influential people in Santa Cruz County, who will join her in addressing the ways we affect change through the arts, activism and community.
Proceeds from the Reception and "Meaning of Matthew" Benefit will support the missions of Pisces Moon Productions, The Equality Action Project of the Diversity Center, and the Matthew Shepard Foundation.
NOTE: Judy Shepard's books will not be signed at the Reception or "Meaning of Matthew" Benefit at the Vets Hall. Judy will sign her books at the Book Signing at Bookshop Santa Cruz, which follows the Benefit.
The first 100 patrons who purchase the Meaning of Matthew at Bookshop Santa Cruz will be given one (1) free ticket to the "Meaning of Matthew" Benefit at the Vets Hall. These events are expected to be well attended.
These are ticketed events, and the costs are as follows:
Admission is $25 for the 6 PM - 7 PM "Meaning of Matthew" Benefis.
A $50 ticket is available that will also include the Reception from 5:30 - 6 PM.

JUDY SHEPARD BOOK SIGNING AT BOOKSHOP SANTA CRUZ
On October 23 at 7:30 PM, Judy Shepard, will read passages from and sign her new book The Meaning of Matthew: My Son's Murder in Laramie, and a World Transformed at Bookshop Santa Cruz.
