Financial resources
We know that navigating college costs can be challenging. The Cantú Queer Resource Center is committed to connecting students with financial support resources, including scholarships and campus-based tools for managing money and planning for the future.

Scholarship resources for students
The Cantu Queer Center understands that funding one’s academic journey can be stressful. We have a list of different scholarship databases that can hopefully help with lessening financial strain and worry! Please contact us at queer@ucsc.edu to learn more about these resources.
- The Cantu Queer Center manages the Ruth Bloch Crair Memorial Endowed Scholarship. The scholarship was started in 2014 to award a student who has demonstrated leadership, service, academic excellence, and a commitment to social justice. The award is given through the Cantu Queer Center to celebrate the accomplishments and service of individuals supporting queer and trans people on campus and/or in the greater Santa Cruz community. The scholarship is open to ALL undergraduate and graduate students. For more information, contact the center at queer@ucsc.edu.
